I took this photo yesterday on my Nikon D70 Outfit. The picture quality is way better then what is presented here. If I wanted to keep the best quality, the photograph image would be around 6MB. Hopefully it still displays great for you viewers.
This photo was taken traveling to the western entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The Madison River is the water body seen in the photograph. The title "Going Home" is in regards to the last scenic area we decided to stop at and photograph before going home. The sun is setting, which gives the wonderful warm colors along the mountains and rocky outcrops. I hope you enjoy the photograph.
Enhanced with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 = Auto Levels, gray boarder, embosed photograph with shadow.
Looks good! The only thing I think that might help it substantially is the sharpen filter...Just looking at the trees and rock it could use a bit of <op>. Great shot though, I've always wanted to go to Yellowstone.

Thanks for the critiques. I think the 6MB version is much better, however that picture file is huge. Do you know of a better picture file other then JPG that is better for showing clarity?
Even the crop is absolutely stunning, but I know what you mean about the full resolution 6MP images being even another level above it.
Very nice color contrast here; I especially love the detail in the reflection. The framing is as fantastic as ever - you certainly have an eye for these things.
